Located in Keaau, 20 km from Lava Tree State Monument, Ocean Breeze Inn provides accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and barbecue facilities. We liked the very clean rooms, the space was just enough for the two of us with two big suitcases. Also the balcony was a big plus and nice to hear the ocean sound. Check-in was flexible and easy, which is something we appreciated as we arrived rather late that night. Andy is a very welcoming host, he gave us tips on the area and explained to us how to use the washing machine etc. Would recommend this place !!

Situated just outside of Hakalau, 20 km from Hilo, Mahana House Country Inn is a non-smoking property and features ocean views, free WiFi access, and free private parking. Simply one of the best places worldwide we ever visited. There was fresh fruit and avocado in the fridge everyday and you are welcome to stroll around on the premises and pick any of the seasonal fruits. We ate lychee e.g. directly from the tree. It's a must if you visit big island and like to be in the less crwoded countryside.

The Inn at Kulaniapia Falls sits among 22 lush, natural acres, surrounding Hawaii's largest privately accessible waterfall. Free WiFi is available as well as a guest computers. The surrounding of the Inn is fantastic - you are just outside of Hilo, but it feels like you are in a middle of nature, so green and peaceful. The waterfall and the pool are amazing, with a nice round walking path. The food was delicious, with fresh pineapple for a breakfast.

Located in Kailua-Kona, within 10 km of Kaloko-Honokohau National Historic Park and 23 km of Kealakekua Bay State Historical Park, Hale Maluhia Country Inn provides accommodation with a garden and... A lovely traditional Hawaiian house in the hills above Kona. Inside was spacious and very comfortable. It had all the facilities we needed inside, including fridge, microwave and mini oven. We also had access to a shared kitchen with more facilities like a cooker. The hoss were wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Every morning there was a fresh pot of coffee ready to start the day. The property takes about 7 minutes to Walmart, 10 minutes to Kona and has numerous beaches within 30 minutes that were stunning. The property had good parking that linked to a main transit route. We would stay here again no problem.

Volcano Forest Inn is located in the middle of a rainforest. Views from a furnished patio is featured is all rooms at Volcano Forest Inn. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is 18 minutes’ walk away. Very cozy big room, and lots of fruit available for breakfast! Not so far from the Volcano Parks Visitor Center either, yet still tucked away private in the jungle. Jon was so quick to respond and very helpful as well. Awesome spot to stay for a night or more! :)
