Situated just outside of Hakalau, 20 km from Hilo, Mahana House Country Inn is a non-smoking property and features ocean views, free WiFi access, and free private parking. Probably one of the best stays in our lives!! (and we travel a lot!!) the cottage we stayed in was perfection - from heavenly bed, through beautiful decor, big shower room, and terrace overlooking the garden, palm trees and the ocean where we sipped our morning coffee. The owners and staff are easy to reach, very generous and hospitable. Would love to come back one day!

Located 1 mile from Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, this Volcano historical lodge features a hot tub. Lava viewing at Halema'uma'u Crater is 4 miles away. Lovely big room with very comfortable king bed. Spacious bathroom. Heated towel rail - very nice. Beautiful lead light in one of the windows.

What an awesome location and surroundings! Absolutely loved being able to sleep next to the waterfall and the see it in the morning. Gorgeous location and well maintained. Everyone at the Inn was very friendly and helpful!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there!

Lovely, quiet accommodation nestled in a beautiful location in the hills (but only a short drive) from the main centre of Kailua Kona. The hosts were so lovely and very accommodating. If I get an opportunity to return to Kona, I will certainly stay here again.

The Inn is definitely in the Forrest. It is a small Inn and is about a mile from the Volcano National Park. The room was big with 2 comfortable queen beds and a nice porch. You wake up in the morning with birds singing and surrounded by nature.
