Ponte de Lima
At the inn, all rooms come with a wardrobe, a balcony with a mountain view, a private bathroom, a TV, bed linen and towels. The rooms are fitted with a coffee machine, while selected rooms here will provide you with a kitchenette with a fridge and a microwave. It doesn't get much better than this lovingly run hotel with its friendly and dedicated staff. Furnished in traditional, warm style with historical photos on the walls and with coffee, tea, bread and goodies available at all times. Great for Camino pilgrims, the price is astoundingly reasonable for what you receive here. Even the gardens with its trees and various succulents around the building are stunning. I had a great rest here and was sorry to leave . .

A wonderful location. We arrived late, but the owner put together a charcuterie board for us to take to our room. They helped us with suggestions and dinner the next night at the restaurant was delicious! I wish the weather was better so we could enjoy the beautiful pool.

Location is exceptional. The facilities are far better than 4 star hotels. All rooms have a very good river and Mountain View. Staffs are very helpful.
Small but pretty and cozy apartment near the town center of Guimaraes. There’s a huge free parking a few meters from the apartment, and it’s ten minutes from the town center and twenty from the castle on foot. The apartment is very well equipped, with a good sized kitchen and even a dish washing machine. We got an apartment which faced the inner courtyard, so it was also overly quiet (by the way, the structure’s road is a secondary one, so there is no traffic at all).
The restaurant under the apartment (it has the same name as the pension) is great! The apartment is spacious, clean and has everything you need.
Ana is such a great host!!! She knows so much about the Camino and provided me with great information about it. I learned so much from her. She even took time to help me with the planning of my routes. I can feel her passion for the Camino and to share this passion with the rest. Pedro cooks the dinner and was the best, wholesome dinner I have had so far in the Camino. I love the idea that the pilgrims get to bond together over dinner.

Friendly staff. Very clean in all rooms and lounge and dinning areas were comfy and well decorated. Access to fruit, coffee, tea, juice at any time, and sandwich things in the fridge. Room was a good size and had a fan. Location is good and close to restaurants and supermarkets.
Staff were friendly and the building was clean and cool (which was important in the heat). The room was a good size and the bathroom was large and clean. Plenty of seating to socialise and the owners ran residents to a local restaurant for lunch or dinner.
The dinner al fresco with other pilgrims. The food was great and the company welcomed. It was our first stop in our Camino and that experience gave us a glimpse of what the Camino will be like. Although rustic on the outside, the rooms were clean, comfortable and modern! And the location in the midst of a vineyard will be fondly remembered.
so well prepared guest house on the Camino Santiago ! fantastic nice spotless , lovely kitchen dinning area and lounge with drinks ! so lovely and homely and well done ! you can even cook there !
