We were greeted warmly after parking in front of the easily accessible, secure, free parking in front of the hotel. Our stay at this well located and beautifully restored home of a revered Viseu teacher/archaeologist has been a highlight of our travels around Portugal. This is a family owned and run hotel and pride of ownership is clearly evident. The family was so gracious and kind and we learned so much about life in this region from them. The lovely, spacious room and large bathroom were immaculately clean and comfortable. Breakfast was abundant and delicious. Our stay was perfect and we look forward to returning!

But the best part was our host, Miguel. He was extremely flexible and accommodating. We were treated better than we would have at a five star resort.

Located within 3.4 km of University of Aveiro and 6.4 km of Aveiro Municipal Stadium, Soldouro Train Suites features rooms in Aveiro. I wanted to thank the staff at Soldouro, namely Sara Silva, for being so patient and helpful with the check in issues i had. She was amazing! As for the property, the room and bathroom were very clean and they had everything needed for a perfect night's rest. The bed was super comfortable and there was even an extra blanket. The AC worked well and it was silent. I will fully recommend this place to others.

PENSÃO AVENIDA is situated in Penacova, within 28 km of Santa Clara a Velha Monastery and 28 km of S. Sebastião Aqueduct. Absolute bargain! Perfect place to stay whilst cycling the n2. Very clean and a lovely view for the room!

Situated in Ourém, Casa do Castelo Ourém has a garden, terrace, restaurant, and free WiFi throughout the property. Super nice location, right on a Camino variant we were doing. Beatriz from the staff was very nice. Amazing to have a microwave and little biscuits, coffee and tea available.
