The accommodation was authentic and comfortable- our host Gabriel and his lovely Mother were a pleasure to communicate with. The bed was extremely comfortable and the shower lovely! We are of average fitness but managed to do the 9km loop walk through the main villages which was absolutely beautiful. The village of Pena is so peaceful and and scenic. I would highly recommend this accommodation and experience- it is an absolutely unique!

The wonderful hill top location. The snack bar in the attic and the good food in the attached restaurant.

Everything. The property was incredibly clean and on such a quiet road but across from a Pharmacy and bakery where you could buy great coffees, pastries and the infamous 'Pastel De Nata'. Whilst the property was lovely it was surpassed by the fantastic daughter of the owner who helped us gain access and get settled despite us being 4 hours late due to flight delays. This was going above and beyond for a property that isn't a hotel with lots of staff.
