Ollantaytambo
Offering rooms with impeccable rustic style décor and garden views, this inn just 30 km off Machu Picchu, features red-tiled terraced Spanish galleries and views of the surrounding scenery. Wi-Fi is free. I would say it this way- I have travelled to 74 countries, stayed in hundreds of hotels and this one is in top 5 places which positively impressed me. It’s clean, organic and so well built hotel - you will enjoy a lot. Spend extra time to have a view on mountains/garden, it’s worth it. Spend time to visit their garden, plantations, and see the nature. Restaurant is fantastic with the food.

Guest can enjoy beautiful views from this old characteristic city from the terrace. The tour desk can arrange city tours along the museums, cathedrals and markets, as well as to the famous Machu Picchu.
El Triunfo Hostel in Cusco is an exceptional place that far exceeds our expectations. From the moment we checked in, the staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They were incredibly helpful, always ready to arrange tours, book taxis, and answer any questions we had about exploring the city and surrounding areas even before our arrival. I can not say the same thing about our fancy hotel in Aquas Calientes.
The rooms at El Triunfo are impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. One of the standout features is the stunning views from the rooms, where you can enjoy breathtaking vistas of Cusco's charming rooftops and historical sites. The location of the hostel is perfect – right in the heart of Cusco. It's within walking distance to the main attractions.
Despite its modest rating, El Triunfo Hostel offers services and amenities that rival those of higher-rated hotels. The friendly and attentive staff, the spotless rooms, and the unbeatable location make it a top choice for anyone visiting Cusco. I can't recommend it enough and am puzzled as to why it only has two stars. It truly is a hidden gem!

Breakfast. Dinner. Staff. Room. Every afternoon, tea and Hot water bottle in the room. Everything was perfect! The hotel should be rated as 5 star hotel!
The hotel is beautiful, the staff lovely! They helped with airport transportation, helped us order dinner after our hiking as well. It is in a relatively quiet neighborhood but cute shops and restaurants nearby and a short walk to the Plaza de Armas. Also the included breakfast was excellent. Would highly recommend and would stay there again!
Tonny was very accommodating and served us a wonderful dinner even though we were late arriving there. All of our meals were amazing and he was very kind. The views were beautiful!
Antonio and Nicol were super friendly and did recommend some fabulous places for dinner as well as fun things to do in Ollantaytambo (make sure to visit the the archiological sites). The room was spottless and there was always warm water. Breakfast was veeery good, with fresh juice, tea, coffee, lots of fruits, yoghurt, avocado, bread and eggs at your taste. When we go back to Ollantaytambo we will stay at Ayllu B&B again for sure :)
The 1st time we stayed there in the beginning of the week was very loud and the room wasn't as nice!
We had a wonderful stay in this guest house. Itala helped us to organize tours and even became our guide for a day. This guest house is centrally located and has easy access to the square and historical sites. I would definitely recommend and stay again myself.
The hotel is rustic, with an inner courtyard and a terrace from where you can see the whole city from above. Clean room, comfortable bed and very friendly staff. Carlos was very nice! Good breakfast and we had tea, coffee and coca leaves at the reception.
Beautiful property with nice inner yards and traditional architecture. Mountain View (for rooms on the 2nd floor)! Very well located, lovely area, inside the historial city center, near the 12 angle stone. Restaurants and shops at walking distance. Friendly staff, kept our bags after check out. Decent breakfast. Great value for money. We stayed the first two nights at another place, which costed almost double, and Hosteria de Anita pleasantly surprised us. It was as good as the previous place, for much less! Amazing!
Very authentic and rustic guest house. Staff was helpful and sorted out our problem with hot water.
