I would say it this way- I have travelled to 74 countries, stayed in hundreds of hotels and this one is in top 5 places which positively impressed me. It’s clean, organic and so well built hotel - you will enjoy a lot. Spend extra time to have a view on mountains/garden, it’s worth it. Spend time to visit their garden, plantations, and see the nature. Restaurant is fantastic with the food.

Amaru Colonial is a colonial inn in the artistic SanBlas district, 2 blocks from San Blas square. The charming central courtyard features soft lighting and a colorful flower garden. Aamiainen oli erittäin hyvä, runsas ja monipuolinen! Näkymät aamiaishuoneesta olivat kauniit. Hotellin sisäpihan puutarha oli ihana lukuisine kukkineen ja puineen. Huoneessa oli mahdollisuus saada patterilla lisää lämpöä, mutta en käyntini aikana tarvinnut sitä, huoneessa oli riittävän lämmintä. Teetä oli mahdollisuus hakea oleskelutilasta milloin vain. San Blas on kaunis alue, mutta sinne on keskustasta tullessa aika jyrkkää ylämäkeä. Minua se ei haitannut.

Beautiful surroundings and comfortable rooms. Tony is a great host and chef, I highly recommend trying his Lomo Saltado when it’s on the menu! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Hostal Chayana Wasi is located in Ollantaytambo, 100 metres from the main square and 30 metres from Pincuyuna mountain. Free Wi-Fi access is available. The location is very close to the bus and the train station. The owners are really welcoming, came to pick us up at the train station, helped with bus tickets, stored our luggage. The room was very clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast was very good, too.

Situated on the foothills of Pinkuylluna, a sacred Inca mountain, Apu Lodge features cosy regional decor with exposed stones and colourful tapestries. We stayed here 7 years ago, and we decided to come back this tome around. The owners are great and so helpful

Hostal El Grial is 3 km from the Velazco Astete International Airport and a 10-minute walk from Plaza de Armas. The location is really spot on, just a few steps away from Plaza Mayor and the Museo de Arte Precolumbino amongst other attractions. The hotel is nicely decorated in classic colonial style, around a central patio where guests gather for breakfast. Rooms and bathrooms are clean and well designed. The staff are all very kind and serviceable, especially Milagros and the hotel owner who personally drove us to the bus station in her car! Thank you everyone for a great stay.

The best accommodation on the trip. Great location near the center. Great breakfast. Large beds with warm blankets.

They were incredibly helpful, always ready to arrange tours, book taxis, and answer any questions we had about exploring the city and surrounding areas even before our arrival. I can not say the same thing about our fancy hotel in Aquas Calientes. The rooms at El Triunfo are impeccably clean and comfortable, providing a cozy retreat after a day of sightseeing. One of the standout features is the stunning views from the rooms, where you can enjoy breathtaking vistas of Cusco's charming rooftops and historical sites. The location of the hostel is perfect – right in the heart of Cusco. It's within walking distance to the main attractions. Despite its modest rating, El Triunfo Hostel offers services and amenities that rival those of higher-rated hotels. The friendly and attentive staff, the spotless rooms, and the unbeatable location make it a top choice for anyone visiting Cusco. I can't recommend it enough and am puzzled as to why it only has two stars. It truly is a hidden gem!

Boasting a terrace, Hospedaje Killipata is situated in the centre of Cusco, 2.8 km from Wanchaq Train station. Good location. Clean and peaceful little hostel run by an old couple, who is very warm and kind.
