This was on of our favourite stays in Penang. The staff are absolutely lovely, the breakfasts great (and changed regularly) and the Inn is full of charm and character. We really enjoyed the bustling location of Little India. There are many excellent places to eat locally and the on-site bistro is great for a drink, meal and people and streetscape watching.

Located within 2.4 km of Northam Beach and less than 1 km of Wonderfood Museum, LiLi Stay Lebuh Melayu offers rooms in George Town. Very friendly staff. The room was very clean and the private bathroom was the best I had in Malaysia. The location was very good. Very close to the tourist area but also just 10 min away from the shopping mall. It is a little further to go to little india but easy to walk.

Situated in Ayer Itam, 3.3 km from Penang Hill, Kek Lok Si Inn features accommodation with a terrace, free private parking and a restaurant. The room: Big bed, big room, big bathroom, toilet bidet with good pressure, well functioning heater in the shower, well functioning aircond The location: pretty good location , within walking distance to Kek lo si (literally just beside), the morning pasar (road side market) is abit too crowded to walk along because of busy traffic in the morning. Overall very strategic location.

Located within 13 km of Sunway Carnival Mall and 17 km of Penang Bridge, Boutique Hidden loft provides rooms with air conditioning and a private bathroom in Bukit Mertajam. The owner was very accommodating to our request to be put at ground floor as we are old folks. They even fetch us from our (wrong) drop-off point at a different location.
