Breakfast was very tasty. Decent choice. No gluten free bread available (GF requested in booking) but a GF bap was offered. Dinner was delicious. The staff are wonderful. Very friendly, helpful, polite & chatty. They make the Wheatsheaf!
At The Littleton Arms, the staff were all friendly and helpful. The pub itself is really nice and welcoming. The food at dinner and breakfast was lovely - very generous portions! The location was good, there's a few pubs in the area aswell as a few shops and takeaways. It's well positioned for visiting Cannock Chase, which I would thoroughly recommend.
The staff were all very friendly, the hotel and room was clean and tidy, breakfast was delicious and very filling, dinner was also very delicious and big portions. The bed was comfortable and it was an all round great stay.
Kevin the owner was amazing. Very friendly, professional and helpful. It was my first time staying here as I had 3 exams to take the following day at the North Staffs Medical Institute. Clayhanger guest house was lovely and quiet for me to do last minute studying. I was comfortable and relaxed. I will be back to stay again next time I have to be at the institute.
The pub was excellent. Great, tasty dinner and breakfast. The staff are very pleasant and extremely professional.
We had a warm welcome, the service was friendly and laid-back. Breakfast was automatically included - and tasty. The shower (lovely big towels) and bedroom were lovely and comfy and everything was prettily decorated with lovely little touches like the hamper of tea making materials and friendly cats on the premises. The weather was very hot and there were fans in the rooms. We had our dinner there too and it was very relaxed despite the lateness of the hour. Checkout was a relaxed 11am- nobody was standing outside waiting for us to leave.
I loved location food was beautiful.everthing you needed in bedroom . And husband was happy you had some good beers on . So it's a winner all round
NOTHING Inn cancelled my booking on the day I was due to arrived. I am a female pensioner, so there was no issues there.
Beautiful, clean, rustic inn located perfectly for the town and Gatehouse Theatre.
Lacotion to Theme park Alton Towers. Location as for getting to local supermarket 6min drive. Food served from 7pm. Breakfast 8am. Lovely staff. Clean bedroom. Small pub with few rooms upstairs.. beautiful drive countryside. Rustic. Dinner on Friday was lively.
