We tried our first oatcake ever for breakfast from Poveys, who are across the road. Brilliant 360° view from Mow Cop Folly, which is not far away. Lovely friendly people.

El The White Hart Apartment Church View ocupa un edificio histórico recientemente reformado y ofrece alojamiento con jardín y WiFi gratuita. We stayed here as a family whilst visiting Alton Towers. The room was clean and spacious and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was amazing! Would highly recommend a visit and we would definitely stay again.

El The Huntsman es un pub y restaurante rural situado en la pequeña localidad comercial de Cheadle, a 16 minutos en coche del parque temático Alton Towers. Food was stunningly tasty. Not much choice, but that didn't matter.

El The Littleton Arms ocupa un edificio del siglo XVII con chimeneas originales y vigas de roble y alberga un restaurante que sirve un menú de temporada con productos locales. The staff were amazing. Lovely comfortable room, only downside was noise from the bar. Perfect otherwise.

The Dog & Doublet es una posada rural recién reformada situada en la localidad de Sandon, a 5 millas de Stafford. Ofrece habitaciones de diseño individual, conexión Wi-Fi gratuita y comida casera. Breakfast was great with lots of options and Beccy was absolutely fabulous. She listened, worked with us and made variations based on the individual needs of all parties. Steve, the handyman came and fixed the door locking issue at night which was incredible and he also helped out allowing us to borrow his phone to make a phonecall about our aunt's funeral the following day when we could not do it on our own. Claire was also lovely. Just so thoughtful and kind staff - fabulous and made such a great memory for us. The warm position we had in front of the open fire and ate in warmth having just arrived from hot, humid Aussie conditions into icy, chilly but invigorating conditions of England. Ahhh, just delicious.
