A charming 17th-century coaching inn, The White Hart Hotel offers luxury accommodation, with good access to the A1(M) and a 20-minute train or car journey from London. The hotel staff were excellent, really friendly and informative of the property and history of the building. The food was amazing, we ate in the restaurant both evenings exceptional standard! Well done to all.

Located in Bishop Stortford town centre, The George Hotel Stansted Airport is set in a 14th-century inn, just a 10-minute drive from Stansted Airport. Great bathroom and beds were so bloody comfy! Got a free upgrade and the lady who owned the hotel stayed up to let us check in at 11:30pm what a gem!

A 600-year-old coaching inn located in the centre of St Albans, White Hart Hotel sits opposite the world-famous Cathedral and Abbey. Guests can dine in a traditional oak-panelled, candlelit... This place is so charming and conveniently close to things that might be the best for a short stay in St. Albans. It is literally across the street from the entrance to the beautiful, remarkable cathedral… a block away from the old city-center and nightlife… and two blocks from the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market and Crafts Fair that stretches for blocks and blocks. The hotel is a gem! First built in the late 1400’s and kept up to date – but still with a medieval feel and layout – and easy, free car parking on site. We’ll gladly stay here again!

Dating back to the 18th century and set in a picturesque location overlooking Chipperfield Common, this countryside retreat exudes character and charm. Close to Warner Bros. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Great breakfast.
