I recently stayed at the Pennan Inn Hotel for one night, and it was an absolutely delightful experience. My deluxe sea-view room with an ensuite was immaculate, comfortable, and offered a stunning view of the ocean—a perfect spot to unwind. The bar was cosy and welcoming, with exceptional service from the friendly bar lady. The selection of cold beverages, beers, and a top shelf brimming with malt whiskies was impressive. The menu truly surprised me with its variety of fresh, appealing dishes. I opted for the scallops, steak, and lemon posset—all of which were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. Breakfast the next morning was sublime—though I must admit, I did miss having a slice of haggis! The staff were helpful throughout my stay, and the free Wi-Fi worked flawlessly, which was a lifesaver as there was no mobile signal in the area. As for Pennan itself, the village is nothing short of magical. It’s beautifully isolated, picturesque, and everything you’d hope for in a coastal getaway. I highly recommend the Pennan Inn Hotel for anyone traveling or working in the region—it’s an exceptional place to stay, full of charm and character.

Balmoral Arms is situated in village of Ballater, in the centre of Royal Deeside. The property offers open log fires and free WiFi. My stay at Balmoral Arms was perfect. It’s true that hotel itself is very traditional but the room and also the bathroom was very well furnished, spacious and super clean ..so if you would like to feel old times with a perfect service, this is the best choice :) If you come by car you can park in the free parking which is directly opposite the hotel. The hotel’s location is excellent if you want to visit Balmoral castle, Royal Lochnagar Destillery or just make a tour into the beautiful hills around. Staff at the reception was inctedibly nice and supportive so I definitely recommend and hope I will come here again. Thank you!

The hotel fits perfectly in this beautiful place. Clean, tidy and a lovely room. The beer garden is tastefully planted and everywhere is bright and cosy. The staff are very friendly. The restaurant is highly recommended. The Cullen Skink soup is a dream. An absolute recommendation. Ideal for relaxing.

Incredibly friendly staff once we arrived and when we were leaving. Breakfast was included which was amazing! Clean room and bathroom. Location was great and easy to find. Would highly recommend! 10/10

Newburgh Inn is located 10 minutes from Aberdeen and Ellon, a 5-minute walk from a sandy beach and Forvie National Nature Reserve, home to a seal colony. Clean, comfortable rooms, lovely dinner and excellent choices for breakfast. Very friendly staff. Highly recommend a walk to the seal beach just a few minutes away

The Ardennan House Hotel is a charming Scottish family run hotel which has been renovated to a nice standard with modern, comfortable furnishings. lovely place staff so helpful and friendly .

Objekat The Green Inn Rooms je smešten u gradu Balater, na 18 km od znamenitosti Zamak Balmoral, a ima vrt, bar i pogled na vrt. Great property in an amazing location. The welcome glass of wine was a nice touch but the main reason I would stay again, is the service levels. The owners really went above an beyond to make sure we were happy. Will definitely recommend to a friend!
