The Hosts were so passionate about cleanliness, service, presentation, and meals. They provided a top-notch stay and made sure you had everything you needed. There is no shortage of anything. Meals were home cooked tasty meals and certainly not minimal on size. You can tell Sarah and David take great pride in what they offer and make everyone feel welcome. My husband is still raving about the egg and bacon sandwich, says it was the best he had in over 30 years if ever. I am a little jealous I didn't get one. Outstanding, 11 out of 10 !!!

Teviotside Travel Inn Ltd se encuentra en Hawick, a 26 km de Melrose Abbey, y dispone de salón de uso común, habitaciones libres de humo y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. It felt like home rather than a hotel. Lovely lounge to sit in. Staff very easy to contact by phone. Immaculate presentation.

The Tushielaw Inn tiene jardín, terraza, restaurante y bar en Selkirk. La posada u hostería está a unos 35 km de Melrose Abbey y a 23 km de Traquair House. We did not realise the hotel was 15 miles from the town of Selkirk, (we were on a hiking trip) but the owner immediately offered to come and pick us up. The restaurant was closed because of her birthday, but she invited us to join the party and offered us a free meal. The only thing we had to do in return was sing karaoke:-) We had a lovely evening with very friendly people!

El The Horseshoe Inn está situado en Eddleston, en la pintoresca frontera escocesa, y ofrece un restaurante galardonado y habitaciones elegantes con conexión Wi-Fi gratuita. The rooms were in a separate building from the bar/restaurant so were quiet. Nice room with king size bed with bath & shower. Nice finishing touches like robes, toiletries & irn bru & tunnocks caramel wafers. Also umbrellas at the entrance for guest use (ideal when it rained during most of our visit). Bed was really comfy & room clean. Staff really friendly & helpful. Would definitely stay again if in the area.

Cutty Sark Inn se encuentra en Eyemouth y ofrece alojamiento con jardín y bar frente a la playa, a pocos pasos de Eyemouth Beach. There was no breakfast but they told me that. The location was right by the beach and you could hear the waves.

George and Abbotsford dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, restaurante y bar en Melrose. Hay terraza solárium, wifi gratis y parking privado gratis. LA HABITACIÓN ES AMPLIA, EL BAÑO IMPECABLE, EL COLCHON BUENO SE DUERME PERFECTO. LA HABITACIÓN CUENTA CON UN SERVICIO DE CAFETERA, CON CAFÉ, LECHE, TÉ Y GALLETAS DE CORTECIA, ME GUSTA. EL PERSONAL ES AMABLE. SU RESTAURANT ES BUENO Y GENEROSO EN LAS PORCIONES QUE SIRVE. PERO LO QUE MÁS ME GUSTÓ ES EL DESAYUNO, DE CORTECÍA, ES ABUNDANTE Y TIPO BUFFET, DELICIOSO. GRACIAS

Esta galardonada posada rural se remonta a 1836 y se encuentra en St Boswells. Breakfast menu was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room and en-suite was lovely. Garden was beautiful.
