Located 8 miles from the historic cities of Bath and Bristol, The Carpenters Arms is in the tranquil and scenic hamlet of Stanton Wick, near the village of Pensford, in the heart of the Chew Valley... beautifully located and decorated. The art work was fascinating. All the staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The food was fabulous and the choices excellent.

A perfect place to explore Bath. In the country side but right by the bus stop. Having a beer by the water after a day in town was priceless. Excellent breakfast with the squirrels

The Bear in Bath offers luxurious accommodation in addition to its relaxing restaurant and bar. The room was clean, tastefully decorated, well-equipped and cool. Having the restaurant downstairs was convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful.
