The Yard at Bath is beautifully done, and is extremely good value (we stayed on a Sunday night) and the staff were all lovely. The place has been designed to such a high finish and while the service was brilliant, none of the staff are in any way pretentious - it was all just very relaxed and delightful.

Just 4 miles from Bath, The Wheatsheaf Combe Hay is a West Country inn dating back to the 1500s. Perfect breakfast. Selective sourcing I would guess. Freshly prepared, caring and charming service reflecting good traditional standards.

Special shout out to the incredibly lovely staff there who made me feel right at home. Also Kudos to The Chef for making the best avocado and sourdough toast I've ever had!

Wheelwrights Arms Country Inn & Pub is situated in the peaceful village of Monkton Combe, surrounded by picturesque hills and valleys. Superb accommodation. Great vibe to the place. Exceptional staff and food. Massive bedroom and bathroom with a bath. Easy onsite parking.

With landscaped gardens and picturesque views over the River Avon, this pub offers individually designed guest accommodation. The Bear in Bath offers luxurious accommodation in addition to its relaxing restaurant and bar. Staff were incredibly helpful. Decor was beautiful and functional. Location and parking couldn't be better. I'm looking for excuses to stay there again.
