Location is great and the room that we got was very spacious and lovely - we loved the old school vibes! The bed was super comfy with fluffy pillows and warm covers. I appreciated the option to open windows and the blinds as I like to sleep in the dark. Breakfast didn’t have tons of options but all the staples were available; eggs, sausage, bacon, rolls + yoghurt and cereal and fresh fruit. No fresh juice but bottled drinks in several flavors were pretty good!

Excellent breakfast. Very nice restaurant--we enjoyed the "Sunday Roast" dinner. Beautiful view from the dining room--reminded me of a Monet garden painting. Clean modern rooms-recently updated. Close to the Egeskov castle which is a must see. Also close to Sandholt Slot which is not open to the public, but can be viewed from the road.

Legoland Theme Park is 15 km away. Good location in an interesting small town full of art, close to many places (e.g. Billund, Jelling, Ribe, Aarhus etc.). Our room looked over the parking lot, but it was very peaceful. We enjoyed the little terrace in the evenings. The room was clean and comfortable, the wifi worked well, breakfast was delicious (try the bacon!), parking was very convenient in front of the building. Altogether it was a good choice for 5 nights.

The breakfast was wonderful !!!! The Kro was clean, quiet, comfortable and the staff were very helpful. There was a beautiful old Danish church across the road. The staff spoke English very well ( my Danish is only middling well).
