This was a really beautiful and cosy hotel. I was a solo traveller here and I felt very well looked after by the owners and staff. My room was beautiful, with a view of the river and mountains. There was even a view of a waterfall from the shower! There's a very nice place for swimming just a few minutes walk away from the hotel and it's about 7 minutes walk to the train station, which is well connected to towns and cities in the region. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, with very generous portions. And I would recommend eating at the restaurant, which had a really nice atmosphere and fantastic traditional dishes.

I appreciated the attention to detail that had gone into ensuring my stay was as comfortable as possible. Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the penthouse apartment on the bank of the lake. Located in the village of Inzell in the Danube Valley, just 50 metres from the river and right on the Danube Bicycle Trail, Gasthof Zum heiligen Nikolaus offers a quiet location at the end of the... Breakfast was great and I had my gluten-free option as requested. The location is fantastic - along the Donau with a wonderful view from the terrasse where we had our meals.
