This guesthouse is really special. The rooms are very imaginatively decorated and the whole place was refurbished beautifully in 2017. Bathroom was excellent, bed and the room were both huge and cosy.Luisa was so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Breakfast was great, a good selection of meats, cheeses, breads and sweet items, plus eggs cooked to order. The guest house is a short walk from Steeg-Gosau train station and is well placed for a visit to Hallstatt. Bonus: the lovely resident black Labradors :)

We were greeted with a clean, spacious room with an exquisite mountain lake view. Michael arranged so delicious welcome pastries for us to enjoy, with coffee and tea provided in the room. He provided us with a card for Gasthof See restaurant 3 minutes down the road, which was absolutely incredible. Fresh trout from the lake, perfectly prepared. The other traditional dishes and desserts were the best of our vacation. Easy check-in and check-out. Only 35 minutes from Salzburg. Nice and quiet.
