I grew up in Woodstock and never stayed in Killington. It was fun going back and seeing the ski lifts out the windows! Enjoyed fewer people- visited the end of October. Staff was friendly and room was comfy.

It was very clean smelling and looking. The beds were comfortable, the showers were clean and had soaps and hair wash, fresh towels, there was a little telephone booth with extra towels, toiletries, hair dryers, etc, and the continental breakfast in the breakfast nook was so cute and thoughtfully done!

Wonderful location, on the outskirts of town. Beautiful outdoor places to walk. Inside this period home you’ll find lovely appointed furnishings.
The queen size bed with mattress topper was very comfy! We had I think one of the smaller rooms, but we didn’t mind. If you have trouble going up or down stairs, let them know ahead of time! The continental breakfast was very good.
The innkeeper was very friendly and gave us a good tour.

Breakfast was great, staff was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet - not much going on. But, we spent our days elsewhere so didn't need to be entertained at the Inn.

The room decor and common areas were beautiful and comforting. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location was right on the river...beautiful and peaceful. Breakfast was delicious. The entire stay was perfect!
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Breakfast was fine. Food was hot. It was obvious it was off season, and it was appreciated that there was food. The first night (before the eclipse), it was obvious that the staff realized there was going to be a big crowd, because some rooms got a phone call asking if they would be eating dinner at the establishement. My room did not, but friends staying at the hotel did. I'm not sure why.
All staff were friendly and helpful. The inn had fun decor and comfortable furnishing that gave the feel of a B & B. Good simple breakfast with breads, yogurts, oatmeal, cereal, fruit and different prewrapped pastries. Spacious room with private balcony and pretty views. Proximity to Killington.
we used to stay at the Chalet Killington, but it closed 2 years ago. this was a perfect match for what we liked about that facility and innkeeper. we met the owner and the property manager and they could not have been nicer. a great property with comfy beds.
