Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
I highly recommend Lake Titicaca hotel for staying. Amazing view on the lake! Comfortable room with all needed things. Amazing breakfast and dinner in the restaurant.
This was a truly unique experience and our hosts made sure we had the best time staying in their lodge. We traveled towards the end of May, so it was already quite cold, but our hosts gave us bottles of warm water to keep in bed throughout the night so we wouldn't be cold, they also cooked us dinner (for a separate cost of course) which was so simple, but yet super delicious. They helped us arranged tours on the lake and also gave us a small tour of Uros islands as well. Thank you for everything! Maria & Caty :)
Amazing location on the lake Titicaca and an authentic stay with a local family on the Uros floating island. Our host showed us the lake and surrounding islands. We had a delicious dinner and breakfast. The sunset, sunrise and stargazing were truly breathtaking.
Exceptional experience. Very comfortable lodge, very attentive and delicate hosts. Lodge itself is very big and has plenty seats (and even one bed) to enjoy the lake and sunrise/sunset/sun outside. Even hot shower. Even sofa. And decent lunch/dinner/breakfast. Strongly recommended.
the breakfast was okay, freshly prepared by the owner of the property. not much option, but you will have coffee or tea with pancakes with fresh fruits. the room we stayed overlooks the city lights at night and it is very romantic. during the day, the room gets really hot, however, we get to do lake tours with the owner. for a very reasonable price. lunch/dinner can be provided by owner for a fee, we opt to eat at nearby restaurants. and the owner can speak english very well.
Ronald was great, he picked me up from the port in his boat (for a fee I was happy to pay) and took me to his island, he and his wife had everything I needed for an island experience, they made me dinner, let me take the kayak out and event watched while I went for a quick dip in the chilly lake. It is a very comfortable place to stay but don't expect five star accommodations it is more like a really nice glamping setup which is what you should be looking for on a floating island!
