Very nice stay in the center of takayama , everything is easy to reach on foot. The hotel has a nice traditional vibe and the service was excellent. Also the dinner and Japanese breakfast were excellent. Also we really appreciated the welcome tea and the help in shipping our luggage.
The dinner was huge, fresh and delicious. We also appreciated the traditional breakfast of local foods. The onsens were beautiful and the staff was so kind and caring. I was pleased that I got to choose my yukata. We loved every moment of our stay and left feeling incredibly relaxed.
Everything was perfect. Location is 5 min walk from Hirayu Onsen bus station which is super convenient if you’re planning on going to Kamikochi. Hotel also provides a shuttle bus service.
Onsens were great, both the private ones and the one in your room. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. Views were absolutely amazing. Would highly recommend the half pension - dinner and breakfast were amazing! The resort also provides free Yakult, milk, ice creams and ramen. I cannot recommend this place enough.
