We received a lovely warm welcome as soon as we arrived, all, the staff we're so welcoming, who all definitely go the extra mile, who made our stay enjoyable.
Very dog friendly,George our dog, loved all the attention.
We would highly recommend The New Flying Horse Inn, we stayed in the stable block, for one night.
Our room was spotlessly clean, and warm, the bed very comfortable and the bed linen beautiful, evening meal very good, great choice, and a wonderful breakfast to set us on our travels, we have booked to stay again in a few weeks.
In picturesque Chilham, Woolpack Inn is surrounded by scenic Kent countryside.

Fantastic room, luxurious bed, beautiful decor and a brilliant shower.
The pub itself is great, food was delicious and nice friendly staff.
I was dissapointed in myself for not getting up early enough to try their cooked breakfast. I will blame the bed for this!
An inn since the 15th century, this beautiful property offers boutique rooms and modern stable rooms with free Wi-Fi, just a few minutes’ walk from the city center.

The receptionist Lorna, was terrific. Very helpful with questions we had. Even was able to change our room to one with a bath at minimal cost. Very nice English breakfast. Rooms were quiet even though we were close to the center of town.

My sister and her family really liked this property.
A delightful old pub close to the city center and its many tourist attractions. The ruins of the ancient water mill (hence Miller's Arms) on the River Stor remain alongside the pub.
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
Excellent food, hotel and beer garden. Pub had a great selection of beers and ciders, had ham, egg and chips for dinner which was perfect. The breakfast was sublime. The room was a good size and a super comfortable bed. All in all I would highly recommend it.
excellent breakfast, could choose specific items..warm croissants served with coffee at start, yogurt, seeds etc plus cooked breakfast ..room spacious with fan provided as very warm during visit, able to sit outside for meal but need to book ahead of time.. dinner good excellent spaghetti choices.. dog friendly too... liked the form to request items needed for room for next day...
We stayed at the New Flying horse Inn, while walking the Pilgrims Way. Staff were so helpful, friendly and accomodating. Food was fantastic and great service. Breakfast was 5 star and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Would highly recommend this hotel/restaurant/pub - i could not fault it - perfection
Lovely 'out of the way' Inn - not a straight floor, nor a straight wall - absolutely full of character. The food was very impressive with the staff being extremely friendly and helpful. Easy to find and plenty of parking.
It was brilliant and we would stay again. The staff were fantastic and we got a lovely welcome. The food (dinner and breakfast) was great and there was a lovely atmosphere in the pub. Best of all the bed was extremely comfortable.
charming inn in a beautiful place (Kent downs).
do not miss this rustic yet comfortable establishment ! it will enlighten your roadtrip and the staff is one of the kindest we’ve ever met. Got Covid and they reimbursed everything for when I left.
