Everything was great, and the owners obviously try to do things a little differently from the competition. The food choices in the restaurant are distinctive and unusual.

The breakfast was fantastic. Sourdough bread with advocado, two poached eggs (perfection) and an option of bacon, smoked salmon or mushrooms. With an amazing hollandaise sauce with honey or mustard, just too wonderful. Worth going to the Five Bells for breakfast alone! Loved the shabby chic of the rooms, and the dining room.

Quirky pub in a lovely country setting although feels cluttered inside.
Liked that the rooms had their own entrance. Accommodation clean and bed very comfortable. Breakfast once served, was very good quality.

Our 4-poster room was large and had lots of Elizabethan character. Breakfast was excellent, though it did involve deciding the previous day what to have for breakfast the next morning. Lovely village.

Lovely quaint village inn. Excellent staff. Superb breakfast with high quality ingredients (note starts at 9.30ut worth waiting for). We had evening too and this was also excellent. Very quiet location. Excellent value for money.
A delightful old pub close to the city centre and its many tourist attractions. The ruins of the ancient water mill (hence Miller's Arms) on the River Stour remain alongside the pub.

A wonderful place to stay - huge rooms, large super-comfy bed, all very clean, thoughtful touches like shortbread and hot chocolate provided, and a delicious breakfast included. Staff were lovely. I would stay again in a heartbeat!
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening, which distinguishes them from country or guest houses.
Excellent food, hotel and beer garden. Pub had a great selection of beers and ciders, had ham, egg and chips for dinner which was perfect. The breakfast was sublime. The room was a good size and a super comfortable bed. All in all I would highly recommend it.
excellent breakfast, could choose specific items..warm croissants served with coffee at start, yogurt, seeds etc plus cooked breakfast ..room spacious with fan provided as very warm during visit, able to sit outside for meal but need to book ahead of time.. dinner good excellent spaghetti choices.. dog friendly too... liked the form to request items needed for room for next day...
We stayed at the New Flying horse Inn, while walking the Pilgrims Way. Staff were so helpful, friendly and accomodating. Food was fantastic and great service. Breakfast was 5 star and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Would highly recommend this hotel/restaurant/pub - i could not fault it - perfection
Lovely 'out of the way' Inn - not a straight floor, nor a straight wall - absolutely full of character. The food was very impressive with the staff being extremely friendly and helpful. Easy to find and plenty of parking.
It was brilliant and we would stay again. The staff were fantastic and we got a lovely welcome. The food (dinner and breakfast) was great and there was a lovely atmosphere in the pub. Best of all the bed was extremely comfortable.
