The surrounding location was very nice. You can even see the train passing by from the window. Nearest train station was in walking distance. The staff was really nice and well mannered. The breakfast was good specially the tea.

Everything about this hotel is great, but the biggest contributing factor to our satisfaction is with the level of service and care that we received from the General Manager overseeing his family's property. He (Mathias) is one of the finest hospitality professionals I've met and was unbelievably thoughtful and inclusive with me and my kids. A really wonderful experience staying here! The view from the balcony is mesmerizing and the atmosphere around the property is enchanting. It’s also only half an hour walking distance from the Iltios station which will take you directly to Chäserrugg and I highly recommend the walk. I mostly enjoyed the chat with the owner, who is really nice and friendly. She was kind enough to share her recent travel experience to China with me (yes I am Chinese).
Perfect for rustic breaks in the countryside, an Inn is a small property with basic hotel services and typically traditional decor. Inns are fully licensed and have a bar providing food and drinks in the evening – distinguishing them from country or guest houses.
- We booked a room with a balcony and it was very nice to be able to sit outside to relax and/or eat dinner after coming back from a long hike.
- It was nice to have a screen for one of the windows to keep the bugs out during the night.
- Breakfast was great because there were many options for food (hot and cold) and coffee/tea.
Stunning location at the foothills of the Alps. Easy access by train and a great base from which to start hikes. Hotel was warm and inviting, and staff were all helpful and very friendly. The bedroom was cosy and clean, with excellent views from the window and balcony. Breakfast and dinner were good.
The breakfast and dinner were both fantastic. I highly recommend to eat at their restaurant. We ordered a Cordon Bleu and we could hear the pounding from the kitchen, and the Cordon Bleu was the freshest and juiciest we‘ve ever had in Switzerland.
We got a huge terrace from our room, which was a nice surprise. Overall very good quality for the price we paid.

Lovely hotel facing the snowcapped mountain and the greenery hill with mountain peak background. Plenty of on-site parking spaces. Staff are very friendly. The hotel is well maintained, has lift and Michelin star restaurant. Our room has balcony and a bench to enjoy the beautiful view. Room is spotless. Towels have no musty smell. Bedding is clean. Bed is comfortable, we have a good sleep. Good breakfast. Exceptional dinner. We will return in our next Switzerland visit.
