Casa Chafariz is an iconic building of Lisbon adjoining the Chafariz da Esperança, a public fountain built in 1760 and classified in 1910 as Portuguese national monument. The building and its apartments have gone through a complete renovation while preserving the authenticity of its original structure. To preserve the historical features, it was only possible to install an elevator from the 1st floor up. From the ground floor to the first floor a flight of stairs was kept. Our apartments are provided with charm, comfort and modern facilities for your living experience in one of the most preserved, authentic and remarkable areas of Lisbon.

We are Hermitage Castelo. Lisbon is our passion. We refurbish traditional buildings for the benefit of the city, the pleasure of its visitors and to our own satisfaction. We want your stay in our independent stay apartments located in the emblematic areas of the city to be special. Our apartments are furnished with charm, comfort and modern equipment for your business or leisure trips.

Casa Chafariz is located in the design district of Lisbon, a mix between tradition and modernity. Antique shops, art galeries, traditional and fashion restaurants, museum of antique arts and the proximity to neighbours Chiado, Princípe Real and Cais do Sodré will provide you with a genuine Lisboan experience.
