Relaxing space away from the road, modern amenities to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful Nelson/Tasman area or travelling from around NZ. An off road parking area is available with a private separate entrance to the outside space, deck and room. 24 hour lockbox key entry to allow guest entry when it suits you. Secluded decking area with a safe place to park bikes if you are here to ride the Tasman Taste Trail or surrounding mountain bike tracks. Standard NZ queen size comfortable bed. TV with chrome cast, Wifi and small desk space offered. Note: We do not have a FULL kitchen in this room. There is a small fridge, toaster, kettle and sandwich press. Please be aware of this if you are booking this space for your stay.
We love living in Nelson. We want you to enjoy your stay. We have opened our home to international students since 2009 and can help you with ideas or recommendations of local experiences if you are interested. Please don''t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or concerns during your stay. We have two small dogs, our mini schnauzers, Billie Mae (Big Ears) and Tessie Bear. You may see or hear them occasionally around the property, they are know for being a good watch dog breed and they enjoy having 'zoomies' as they play at chasing each other. They are well fenced away from the guest area.
Our comfortable space in situated in a suburban central setting. We are between Nelson and Richmond. Stoke itself offers a range of shops, supermarkets and restaurants it is a flat walking distance or easy bike ride or drive. We have a dairy (small shop) 100meters from house along with a fish and chip shop. Driving times for local points of interest 4mins to Stoke Shops 1.6km 3mins to Saxton Sports Stadium 1.8km 8mins to Richmond Central 5km 13mins to Nelson Central 7.9km 8mins to Nelson Airport 4.6km 9mins to Tahunanui Beach 5.5kms 35mins to Motueka 39km 50mins to Kaiteriteri Beach 52km 1hour 30mins to Takaka/Golden Bay 97kms 4mins to Pics Peanut Butter World 2.1kms 7mins to Nelson Classic Car Museum 3.8kms
