Our accomodation is the typical Kyoto machiya-style(town house) fully refurbished interior decor with the latest appliances. We want our guests to stay like living local here not as a tourist, as more like you are the local resident. This location is very convinient access to all the major tourist spots and from the Kyoto central station. This area is called the Shimabara, one of the Geisha flower towns of 6 and its the oldest town, so within a walking area you can still enjoy watching the old and the traditional archetects and enjoy the atmosphere of the warm and friendly local neighbours hospitality.
We welcome you to our place. Not only we provide you this staying experience, we want you to touch our deep culture of old capital Japan-Kyoto. We know everythings about Kyoto and how we can entertain you while you are here. Being a father myself with my 6 years old son, I know where the family should go here in town. We gurantee you to have the best stay in Japan.
Toji temple(oldest buddhist temple with the five story pagodas and the national treasures stored-20 min walk) Japan railroad museum and the garden(12 min walk) Kyoto aquarium(12 min walk) Nishihongaji temple(open free to the public and there is a english speaking free tour available-12 min walk) Shimabara former geisha quarter(former red light district-5 min walk) Makoto-no Yu hot natural spa(5 min walk) Fushimi inari shrine( 5 min to the train station, 20 min to the Inari station) Arashiyama bamboo path and the monkey mountain( 5 min to the train staion, 20 min train ride) Kinkakuji temple(Golden pavillion 5 min to the staion, 5 min train ride and 10 min bus ride) Nijo castle(5 min to the staion, 5 min train ride, subway 5 min) Many backstreet restaurants and bars in the area, some of them dont even put out the sign their places outside, we are happy to introduce you to go. We can arrange the private tour in English, Chinese and of course in Japanese with the long experienced local guides.
