After spending years at this beautiful place with stunning Shivalik Hills,scenic landscapes, and not to forget the ultimate ganga we thought why not give this experience to others who are visiting this place and let them know Haridwar is much more than what we think.
Kankhal is known for its spiritual and cultural significance it is home to Mata Sati. Major attractions near our place are 1. Daksheshwar Mahadev Temple: It is one such temple, marking the spot where Lord Shiva is said to have left Sati's thumb. The temple is considered to be an important site for Hindu pilgrims. 2. Sati kund temple : Here Sati immolated herself at a yagna organized by her father, King Daksha, who had insulted Lord Shiva. 3.Har Ki Pauri: This is considered one of the most sacred places in Haridwar. Pilgrims come here to take a dip in the river and attend the daily aarti ceremony. 4.Chandi Devi Temple: This temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Chandi and is located on the Neel Parvat hill overlooking Haridwar. The temple is accessible by cable car or by trekking up the hill. 5.Maya Devi Temple: This temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Maya and is considered one of the shaktipeeth. The temple is known for its intricate carvings and beautiful architecture. 6.Mansa Devi Temple: This temple is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Mansa and is located on a hill overlooking Haridwar. Visitors can reach the temple by cable car or by trekking up the hill.
