Nestled on a private estate of over 1,000 acres in the picturesque Irish countryside, Temple House is a luxury Georgian mansion with views of a 13th-century lakeside castle of the Knights Templar. Guests benefit from free Wi-Fi, free parking, and easy access to outdoor activities such as hiking, fishing, and golf. Each room features luxury furniture and décor, free toiletries, and tea and coffee making facilities. Rooms have an private bathroom. Some rooms also have original features and canopy beds. A full choice breakfast is served in the elegant dining room with homemade goodies and the traditional Irish breakfast is cooked to order. Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery is 12 mi away and Eagles Flying and Raptor Center is located a 5-minute drive from the mansion. Temple House is 0.6 mi off the N17 and Sligo is an 18-minute drive away. Knock Airport is 30 minutes’ drive from the property.

More Country House than hotel or B&B, Temple House is delightful. A Knights Templar castle, a lake, a working farm and real hospitality from the family that have lived here for 350 years.. We returned home to take over from Roderick's parents in 2004 having worked in the UK for 10 years. We've 2 lovely children and enjoy sharing our spectacular home with guests, Helena is a real foodie and Roderick is passionate about the estate.
Looking for somewhere special to stay on the Wild Atlantic Way? County Sligo has so much to see. 1 day won't do it all. #wildatlanticway Archaeology, Hill Walking, Beaches, Fishing, Canoeing, SUP, Galleries & Craft shops, W B Yeats, Traditional Music, Castles, the Wild Atlantic Way, Or just stay on the estate and relax!
