Location was great, clean, beds were comfy, and had a lovely time. We stayed in Carrick because
we rented a self skippered boat at LeBoat. We walked to the boat from your location.

Very elegant house in a beautiful serene setting. Kate was an excellent hostess & we enjoyed a delicious and convivial breakfast with fellow boarders in the morning. Our most luxurious and enjoyable stay of our trip. Will recommend to all, including friends who plan to go to Drumshanbo.

We only stayed one night but the Town looked so beautiful especially by the water. Gorgeous setting very clean & litter free for a Saturday night & Sunday morning. Plenty of choice in dining preferences . Central location for onward travell. Easy Town to navigate. Lovely countryside & scenery all around the central location.
We will have to return to explore further.

Excellent friendly Pubs with great Guinness!!
Lots of great food places to eat ranging form sandwiche bars, Tea Cafes, Italian restaurant, Mitchellin restaurant, and plenty of Takeaways. Unfortunately for us the river trips weren’t on - we will definitely go back to try them!! Lots of places of interest to drive out to - ElFinn, Westport. Also took advantage of visiting a local distillery- fabulous ! The Shed .

Beautiful vibrant town with welcoming people everywhere.
Beautiful vibrant town with welcoming people everywhere. The area by the river is particularly beautiful. There are plenty of things to do and see and the market ( if you get the chance to see it) is lovely. The tiny Costello chapel is moving and a tiny gem. Really good range of places to eat and some very excellent ones amongst them. The whole town has a bustling vibrant feel and is a complete delight. It is well located to allow you to visit a range fo places of interest further afield.
