My ocean view room was clean and pleasant, and the ability to be on the deck was lovely. The breakfast was nicely presented and offered a lot of variety. And David on the front desk was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay at Strandhill Lodge again!

Room was very good from a design perspective.. Location is very central within Sligo and all of the town is extremely easy to access with a short walk. Buffet breakfast was very good. Even rooms without the river view face Sligo town hall, which is still an excellent view in a town like this.

I love Sligo! It is a beautiful county with wonderful beaches. The water is very clean. There are some lovely saunas at Rosses point, easkey and mullaghmore with sea access for a dip. Not to forget the seaweed bath in strandhill. There are beautiful nature and hill walks too.

We were mostly in the Strandhill area which is beautiful.
We were mostly in the Strandhill area which is beautiful. Lots of places to eat and drink. Beautiful beach area where surfers were surfing, and Knocknarea to climb if you have the legs for it! Dinner at The Venue and best we’ve had so far.
The Strand Bar was fantastic too. Fresh sweet seafood!
It's the second time we stayed at Riverside Hotel. I believe it's the perfect place to stay when visiting Sligo: it's clean, comfortable, affordable and close to the center. The beds are comfortable, the river view is beautiful and we really enjoyed the buffet style breakfast next to the river.
Price was perfect, 65 each per night. Prices have rose a lot for hotels etc but nice to see reasonable pricing for an overnight. Will Defintely book if passing through sligo again.
The views are amazing. Less than 10 minute drive to sligo city centre. The apartments themselves were great, a home from home for a week. Would 100% stay again
