Located on the edge of the Curragh Plains, the adult-only Athgarvan B&B offers free WiFi and free onsite parking. The town of Newbridge is just 2.5 mi away and it is just 5 minutes’ drive from the M7 motorway, allowing easy access to Dublin. With garden views, each room at the family-run Athgarvan offers a flat-screen TV, and seating area. The en-suite bath or shower room has a hairdryer. In the mornings, guests can enjoy our continental breakfast. Special diets can be catered for with prior arrangement. The local pub is an easy walk away and offers a full restaurant service. The banks of the River Liffey are within a 5-minute stroll of the Athgarvan B&B. The area is ideal for scenic walks, cycling, fishing, and canoeing. 1 Millford is centrally located in a little village called Athgarvan, Co. Kildare. Approx 3km from the M7 Motorway with direct access to Dublin Airport (40 mins) and City or alternatively many Southern & Western towns including Wexford, Limerick, Cork, Waterford, Kilkenny to name a few. Local amenities include the oldest golf club in Ireland, The Royal Curragh. The Curragh Racecourse is a five minute drive and hosts the Irish Derby annually. Punchestown Racecourse a fifteen minutes. Fishing on the River Liffey - a five minute walk. Other attractions include Donnelly's Hollow, St Brigids Cathedral and Round Tower, The world famous Newbridge Silverware with its free entry Museum of Style, The National Stud and Japanese Gardens, Kildare Village Designer Outlet Centre, Riverbank Theatre - Newbridge, Moat Theatre - Naas.
