Dublin is an expensive city but we expected that before the trip. The restaurants unfortunately some times overcharge tourists and the food is not always on standard. Choose restaurants wisely. That said, Dublin is a wonderfully diverse city, easy to get around in. The locals are some of the friendliest and most welcoming that we have ever encountered during our trips abroad. It is just a pleasure to visit such a city.

Dublin does not have the magnificent monuments buildings of other cities but does have some great places of interest and some magnificent historic buildings, Dublin is guaranteed to put a smile on your face an energetic bustling place where every second pub with live bands playing various kinds of music, recommend a trip on Dublins Metro (Dart ) to last stop on cities north side (Howth) nice sea side area with great restaurants, we went to The Brass Monkey, excellent fish and chips for under €20, also a good hike to Howth head or a short taxi ride is recommended.

Museums were really great.
Museums were really great. We visited both cathedrals which are a short walk apart. St Patrick’s Cathedral was welcoming and interesting.
Seemed a lot of restaurants but quite spread out across the city.
One surprise was the traffic. The city seemed somewhat dominated by car traffic

The city is reside nearby a river and have a lot of things to do. It have a lot of history and you can see a lot of historical buildings. It looks very nice worth viewing. The public transport is very good and accessible and they offer visitors bus pass which is awesome. The only thing is that the local people never seems to bother waiting for the traffic light to turn green and the car don't usually yeild to pedestrian.

Dublin has a great vibe.
Dublin has a great vibe. There are always lots of people around, obviously a lot of foreign visitors but also it has a diverse population nowadays. It has wonderful art galleries and museums, famous theatres and pubs and a large green space to run, jog, or saunter in. Do your research and choose a few activities or venues if on a short break, you can always come back . Some great tours also that go outside of the city with great info related by some wonderful local characters.

Was very reasonably priced compared to other Dublin City hotels.
Perfect location for us visiting our son just starting at Trinity College. Half way between the city centre and his student accommodation in Daltry. A short direct walk south to meet him down rathmines Road which had a nice neighbourhood feel and good bars/ restaurants. Another short walk north to st Stephen’s Green and Grafton street for shopping and fancy restaurants.
Will definitely use this hotel as our base when visiting our son while he’s at uni.
This is my third time staying in this hotel and the staff are always friendly, the rooms and the rest of the hotel are always clean. Beds are always comfy and the hotel is near everything because it is right in Dublin city centre.
Well located, comfortable hotel near Dublin City centre. Some decent eating and drinking options nearby. Near tram to city centre and main train stations.
