Located in Minies village, with a spectacular view of the Ionian Sea and the sunset, Il Giardino is a brand new house with a fantastic garden, offering its guests a unique holiday experience. Il Giardino is in a quiet and secluded location, in a private gated property consisting of two separate, unique houses, (the second house is inhabited by the owner). Only an eight minute drive from Kefalonia’s capital Argostoli and five minutes from the airport. Directions to Il Giardino -> At the main road from the airport to Argostoli, you turn left on the uphill road towards Villa Roxani & Iris studios. At the end of the road on the uphill turn right and immediately left on the dirt road. At the end of the dirt road you find a Green door with 2 illuminated columns. That’s Il Giardino's Entrance. Some of the amazing beaches of Minies and Livatho area are located very close to the property. Il Giardino is fully equipped with everything one might need for a perfect vacation and is suitable for individuals, couples and families looking for a relaxing stay in amazing surroundings.

We will be by your side recommending the most beautiful places for swimming, food, drinks but of course fun. Also the joy of the hostess is to offer to her guests some of her specialties, like sweets and traditional pies and some local products!!! The village Minia village belongs to the municipal section of Argostoli, in the municipality of Kefalonia, is just 6 km from the capital of the island, to the southwest, and is very close to the airport. You will find it referred to the plural “Minies” with almost the same frequency of its official name. The beach at Minia is the main reason why the village is full of people in summer. In Minia, you will still find numerous tourist accommodations, as it has evolved into a holiday center on the island: hotels and rooms to rent to suit all tastes and budgets are in abundance. Minies, according to the tradition, have been built in at least three different locations in the region. The pirate raids destroyed the village and its inhabitants rebuilt it to safer places. The village’s church is the Virgin of Maggana, was first built in 1666. The current building was constructed in the likeness of an older, which has been destroyed by the devastating earthquakes in Kefalonia, in August 1953.
