Only 328 feet from the beach, the guest house has a great location, just 3 minutes' drive from the ferry/rail terminal and 2 minutes' walk from the town center for pubs and eating places. Guests can also benefit from free on street parking. All rooms at Wavecrest are furnished to a high standard with tea/coffee making facilities and light snacks provided. Also in the room is a smart TVs in all rooms and either an en-suite or shared bathroom. The guest house caters for all ferry arrivals and departures. A hearty continental breakfast and also cooked options available each morning and can be arranged prior to ferry departures to Dublin. Late arrivals are welcome with prior notice. It is close to pleasant beaches and is located close to a beautiful South Stack location.

Hello I am your host Jaye. I own and manage Wavecrest BnB. I have good local area knowledge to ensure your time on the lovely isle of Anglesey will be fun and informative. My previous career is in hospitality and I am lucky to have lived and worked around the world. Before landing at Wavecrest BnB Holyhead.

Property info

A cozy five bedroom Victorian property, with many original features. All rooms and ensuites have had a recent refresh. Some rooms have fabulous sea views, other rooms have a mountain or garden view. We are pet friendly with large dog friendly fields a 2 min walk from the BnB. We are a 3 min walk from Newry Beach and a 5 min drive to the ferry terminal to Dublin. We are a 10 min drive from South Stack lighthouse and Holyhead mountain. Lovely water front bars and restaurants are a 5-10 min walk from Wavecrest. Please note ALL parking is public street parking. There are NO dedicated BnB parking spaces We offer rooms to include a full cooked breakfast or room only option.

Neighborhood info

We are situated 100 meters from a part sandy/shingle beach, however within a 10 minute drive we can boast some of the best beaches in the country! The Marina area has been developed with a restaurant and shops and a lovely, easy walk along the promenade. The closest restaurants are also dog friendly. The South Stack is an area of outstanding beauty with cliffs and various species of sea birds and marine mammals. Locally the Breakwater nature park and Penrhos reserve are within walking distance. The area is peaceful with low crime rate. You are a 5 min drive or 10 min walk to the town center where there is a variety of pubs and restaurants serving food and beverages. Many of the food places will also deliver to the BnB for a small delivery charge
