Very kind staff, food in the pub was good, but the hotel was a bit dirty. Would have been plenty happy if it'd been less expensive.

Breakfast was cooked perfectly. Served in light filled kitchen diner. Very peaceful surroundings. Hosts were delightful.
Cemaes Bay is a beautiful location with amazing views.
Cemaes Bay is a beautiful location with amazing views. It is a great place for walking. The Main Street has a craft shop, art gallery and two lovely cafes with varied menus. Also a must to try is the chippy. There is free parking available too, just behind the main street. If a beverage is required there is a popular pub and a bar near the beach. The whole place is so quaint and features a picturesque harbour into which flows a river.
The Gadlys is a fantastic hotel and situated just a short walk from the beach.

We loved the scenery, and the walks.
We loved the scenery, and the walks. The Community Shop is always worth a visit. The village-centre has had a welcome face-lift since we last visited.
The Harbour Inn serves good food, and plenty of it, but the staff need to know more about what they are doing; they don't appear knowledgeable or well-trained. Greater attention to detail would be good. Serving stone-cold custard with a hot pudding doesn't work! On October 19 (Saturday), only three desserts, all cake, were on offer, and there weren't any 75 cl bottles of wine available.

There was a pretty high street with colourful cottages. There was a pharmacy and a little supermarket.
There were a couple of pubs that looked ok.
Nice people.
Only our flat was a huge disappointment.

A lovely part of the Island.
A lovely part of the Island. One of the nicest beaches with lots of amenities. The town has pubs, shops and a chippy. The beach has plenty of parking with a secondary parking area and the other end of the beach. There is a cafe and toilet in the main parking area. There is also a lovely arts and craft shop that also has a pre loved section.
Most areas of the Island are less than 30 minutes away.

On arrival it looked shabby and run down.
On arrival it looked shabby and run down. When we entered the building it was just as bad, lots of maintenance attention required desperately. The place was friendly enough but not very clean. The room was poor and in need of update. Only two plug sockets in the room and not hear the bed. The furniture was mis-matched and in a sorry state. The bathroom was OK but the floor was dirty and the sink light didn't work.
Our evening meal was lovely but same couldn't be said about breakfast. That was all cold, so didn't eat that and the order was wrong! The juice was served in a dirty glass and the tables hadn't been cleaned down from previous guest. We only had one night there but downstairs was noisy and someone decided to play knock a door run which was annoying when you're trying to sleep before a long journey the next day. All in all, I don't think we will be staying there again. It needs desperate investment.

The property was perfect, extremely clean, comfortable beds and the milk & chocolate biscuits were a nice touch. The location was perfect and Pam was an excellent host and communicated before and during our stay. Thank you for the plant which is a constant reminder of our fantastic trip to Cemaes Bay.
The house is lovely & has everything you need for a stay. We stayed as a group of friends with children & were very happy. The location is great with a short walk into Cemaes Bay, off road parking, comfortable beds & fantastic outdoor space.
Lovely hotel very pleasant and helpful staff room comfortable and clean 10 minutes walk to the beach and small town food really good enjoyed evening meal and breakfast 😊
The locality where it is - Cemaes Bay and the proximity to a relative who lives down the road. The accommodation is like a mini home from home with all the comforts.
