Great for weekends away with friends and family or when visiting your children who are studying at Durham University. - 2BDR quirky and cosy house - 10 minutes walk to the Market Square and other Durham attractions. Close to the city University Campuses - Fee onsite parking - 2 bedrooms ( 1x King bed + 2x Single bed) - Safe and quiet street - Small but wonderful back garden with a patio - Close to supermarkets, restaurants, cafes - Close to lovely river walks
This charming property is a perfect retreat for travellers looking for a comfortable stay and only short walk away from all that Durham has to offer.
A safe residential area within walking distance of the Historic City Centre which boasts heritage sites (Durham Cathedral and Castle), fantastic bars and restaurants, sports and leisure facilities a diverse range shops and some simply stunning riverside walks among its many amenities. You can also take advantage of the wonderful nature and riverside walks which are only 5 minutes away. You can explore Durham by foot - as this property is very conveniently located within minutes of the main attractions, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. The main train and bus station is about 15 minute walk with trains going to nearby Newcastle or other areas such as York, London or Edinburgh and many others. It is also well placed for commuting purposes being within a few minutes drive of the A(690) Durham to Sunderland Highway which in turn offers access to the A1(M) Motorway Interchange and the A19.
