This lovely little quaint Port is perfect for anyone looking for escapism, relaxing, stress free break and is a great location for walking, cycling and sailing. This is a self check in property, we live locally so if you need us for anything we are nearby for you. 'The Port' has a local post office/convenience store, Community pub with a great friendly atmosphere and a fabulous little wine bar/bistro both within walking distance to the apartment. (check locally for opening times) From the Apartment you can enjoy a nice relaxing walk along the beachfront and coast line to Rothesay town centre around 2 miles away (7 minutes by car) or head in the other direction to the stunning Ettrick Bay Beach (which has a cafe on the beach with views of Arran) or in similar direction to Colintraive where you can get the smaller ferry connection to Dunoon. There is a regular bus service to town and surrounding areas on the island and local taxi services too. Myself and fiancee Deryck are residents on the Isle of Bute. We relocated here from Glasgow to be closer to our family who have lived on the island for over 10 years. We enjoy the slower pace of life on this beautiful Island and continuing to enjoy and explore what it has on offer. We have 3 children between us who are growing up very fast! I currently work in I.T and Deryck has a business on the island offering various services such as Massage Therapy and Personal Training. We live locally so if our guests need us for anything we are nearby!
