The House of Edward is a vacation home unlike any other. It provides the comfort of a home with the luxury of a hotel room in a recently renovated 18th century building while delighting travelers with its old-world charm and contemporary influence. Offering complimentary WiFi throughout the property, each room features the most comfortable beds, private bathrooms with walk-in shower, a flat-screen TV, coffee/tea making facilities, a secluded terrace or kitchenette. The House of Edward is close to the city center, the Friday Market, main shopping streets, art and culture, restaurants and dining outlets perfect for couples, solo travelers, business travelers and families.
We are a couple of hoteliers who are looking to provide bespoke and authentic experiences to our guests in a cosy environment with a goal to uplift the guesthouse industry
The House of Edward is located on the Edward Anseeleplein, a small square adjacent to the Friday Market (Vrijdagsmarkt) where locals buy and sell fresh produce and artisanal crafts.
