I could use a bike to discover the area and I really enjoyed it because I felt like “home”! Thank you for your sweet hospitality, the lovely breakfast, for being such nice persons and everything else! The coffee was super delicious as well;-) Gloria and Willy made my stay in Piriapolis to a great memory I won’t forget! Gracias por todo! Highly recommended if you look for a sweet stay in Piriapolis!

La Quinta Hostel Bar is located in La Barra, Punta del Este. The establishment is located 10 km from downtown Punta del Este and "Los Dedos" beach, 5 km from Manantiales and 20 km from José Ignacio. Everything fine, but to enjoy the place, you should have a vehicle. It's a bit far away from everything.

We had a private room in a bit older building of the hostel, but it was a large room, with a good, big bed and a perfect shower (even a rain shower!). Wifi worked very well. There are a couple of common rooms which you can also use, even if you have booked a private room. That's very nice in the evening. It's nice that the breakfast includes fresh fruit. Regarding the price, the stay is absolutely good value for money. But what really makes Negrita Hostel the absolutely perfect stay is owner Camillo: he is very friendly, attentive and gave us a lot of information: restaurants in the area, but also in Punta del Este and even on the way to Montevideo. Also good information about museums, sights, things to do,... I would absolutely stay in Negrita Hostel again if I would travel to the region again.

Mundaka Hostel y Bar features a large garden with an outdoor pool. The hostel has free WiFi access in all areas. After more than three months of backpacking i want to say, that was the best hostrl i have stayed in. Great stuff! Always kind and helpfull. Really clean in all areas. In particular the bath, kitchen and pool. Really tasty breakfast included (i topped my with selfmade eggs)

Stayed in a private room for one night. Really enjoyed my stay. The room was clean and spacious. The hostel staff were very friendly and the hostel facilities were good. The price was also unbeatable.

I had a great time at the Trip Hostel. I was traveling alone and arrived at the hostel on the last day of the year, I was immediately welcomed by the long-term guests and I ended up having a great New Year's Eve with them. The vibe is really laid-back and friendly. If you are traveling alone looking to meet some cool people look no further. Also, the location of the hostel couldn't be better, just two blocks from the "Dedos" sculpture, near playa mansa and brava, as well as the peninsula. If I'm back in Punta, I'm definitely staying there again.
