As a solo female traveler, I felt really safe here, which was super important to me while traveling in Africa.. The staff were super friendly and gave great tips on where to go and what to do. The rooms were clean and comfy, and the common areas were great for meeting other travelers. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for an affordable and welcoming place to stay!

I have been living in Tanzania for over 6 years, and I come to Zanzibar a few times a year. My favorite place in the whole island, especially in Paje, is Drifters. Super fun vibes, great beach, great food, close to everything, and best place to be! If you're traveling alone or with friends, I highly recommend Drifters!
