Located in Jambiani, a few steps from Paje Beach, Jambiani Backpackers Hostel provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a private beach area. This place was amazing. Very good value for money, very nice environment. A lot of young people with free spirit. They also arranged a trips for guests, what I really appreciate during my solo travelling. Very good breakfast and friendly staff.

First off, I just wanted to express my utmost gratitude towards the lovely staff at this specific hostel. The location of this hostel is prime. Tucked away, but close enough to the beach (basically on the beach with a one minute walk over). I stayed at a hostel nearby prior to arriving to Your Zanzibar Place, and was happy with switching over. **FANS blasted AIR well, and mosquito nets were maintained. They were actually doing maintenance and checking up on each "hut" while I was there, which is promising to future travellers. Breakfast of choice included was a plus, each morning I had a new fruit juice. Favourite one was jackfruit and papaya! I stayed at this location for Christmas and the hostel hosted an all you can eat buffet for a decent price, great vibe and it was packed. Ambience, music, and areas to chill made this hostel perfect for meeting other travellers. I made amazing friendships from all over the world. I cannot forget to mention the amazing staff Miros and owner JOSIP + close family friends who made the end of my solo travelling experience memorable in Zanzibar. I'll be back to visit Paje SOON! Situated in Zanzibar City and within 400 metres of Stone Town Beach, Shoki Shoki Hostel has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi. Great location, very clean dorm with AC and outlets by every bed. Staff was friendly/helpful, and it was nice that they provided a list of tours (with prices!) Free water refill, fridge/kitchen available for cooking

It’s in a prime location, walking distance to the beach and the nightlife. Sarah and her team keep the place clean and are attentive.

Super fun vibes, great beach, great food, close to everything, and best place to be! If you're traveling alone or with friends, I highly recommend Drifters!
