Good location near the station and close to many food places, very clean and comfy Brad the owner is very nice and went through a lot of trouble to send back a shirt that I had forgotten !

Set in Yuli and with Ruisui Railway Station reachable within 26 km, 途中玉里青年旅舍On My Way Yuli Hostel offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a shared lounge. the location is great , the rooms are clean and unique, also the stuff was very nice and kind. he told us about everything that we could ask for . there’s free coffee in the morning also some fruits on the table that you can help yourself. they also have some beer and craft beer that you can buy some . love this place . next when I come to Yuli . I still want to stay here !

What really sets this place apart is the host- I felt like I had so much help and I was never alone when trying to figure out what to do during my stay there. Great guy!

Everything is so well-designed and thought-out, and the owners clearly haven’t skimped on anything. Everything is super high quality and when you need something, you’ll happen to find it immediately. Probably the most beautiful interior design in the 50-odd hostels I’ve stayed at before, too. Cool staff and friends of staff and owner, too.

Situated in Hualien City and within 2.9 km of Beibin Park Beach, World Inn 窩二樓小客棧民宿 has a shared lounge, non-smoking rooms, and free WiFi throughout the property. Great location - less than 5 minutes walk from the train station. Close to main street and also close to a 24h laundry service, which is really useful. Staff was very friendly, welcoming and helpful. They have listed all the eateries on Google maps and were generally helpful with information. They also spoke excellent English, which is really nice when as a foreigner you don't speak much Chinese. The hostel is quiet and extremely clean - while I'm used to well-cleaned accommodation in Taiwan, this was just extra level. Bathrooms and toilets were especially clean. Dorms were quiet and comfortable. Not too much aircondition that would make it cold, and also not too little which would make it hot or smelly with many people sleeping at the same time. Each bed had a spacious locker (not for a huge backpack, but more than enough for a small/mid-size one and valuables. Also a curtain to give you almost complete privacy, good bed lamp and power sockets. Small but convenient kitchen. Good to have reusable slippers, better for the environment. Hostel also has a café where you can buy coffee and some cakes.
