The rooms and bathrooms were spotless, and the beds were comfortable with privacy curtains and individual lights. just a short walk from the train station and close to local shops and restaurants. It’s an excellent spot for budget travelers looking for a laid-back place to stay in Hualien.

Set in Yuli and with Ruisui Railway Station reachable within 26 km, 途中玉里青年旅舍On My Way Yuli Hostel offers express check-in and check-out, non-smoking rooms, free bikes, free WiFi and a shared lounge. I stayed here only one night, but could have stayed way longer! Everything was fantastic. I felt really welcome and Eric (the owner) helped me with what to do, where to eat and was generally really nice. Fantastic experience!
