We liked the kindness of the hostess very much We got the impression that every detail in this hostel has been thought out and designed with great care and elegance. If we - four pensioners - had any prejudices against hostels, staying in Uppsala dispelled them.

Brilliant stay at this beautiful vandrarhem! Beautiful area with easy access from the train station (just 10 minutes walk). Beautiful old fashioned house. Great value for money. Before I went I read a few reviews that claimed the place seemed run-down. This is a ridiculous statement, it's a old heritage building so obviously not brand new inside or out, but nicely painted, comfortable beds and good facilities. Cannot wait to come back again!

The staff is very helpful, the room with a toilet was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good, nice choice of food with vegan options

This hotel is a 15-minute walk from Uppsala Central Station and the Concert & Congress Hall. Hotellissa oli hiljaista, sillä halusimme nukkua kunnolla laivamtakan ja juhlien jälkeen. Aamiainen oli hyvä ja runsas.
