Uppsala City Hostel is located in the heart of Uppsala, 500 metres from Uppsala Central Station and 300 metres from the main square, Stora Torget. It offers free Wi-Fi internet access and a fully equipped shared kitchen. Great bang for the buck, and probably the friendliest hostel in Uppsala. It is clean, tidy and very calm. Stayed here 3 times over the years, and always seem to end up having the most interesting conversations with the guy running the place about the different curiosities in our respective countries (I'm a Swede who emigrated to Spain 16 years ago). The place is located right in the very middle of Uppsala putting it right next to restaurants, stores and "must see's". Next time I plan another visit to Uppsala this hostel will be on the very top of the list of places to stay.

Situated only 50 metres from Uppsala Central Station, this centrally located 24-hour hostel offers free WiFi access and a shared kitchen. Uppsala Botanical Gardens and Uppsala University are 10 minutes’ walk away. Best restrooms and shower facilities of any hostel at which I've stayed. Location is fantastic. Only one block from the train station!

Uppsala Kvarntorget shares a building with a restaurant, hairdresser and massage therapist. A supermarket is found just around the corner. I visited Hotell Kvarntorget three times. The room is nice. And there are many toilets and shower rooms. Especially the lobby is very nice. Also the staffs at the reception are kind. Hotell Kvarntorget is very nice!
