Located in Ponta Delgada, Ilha Hostel & Suites features a garden, shared lounge, terrace, and free WiFi throughout the property. Stayed for a very short time, but great impression from the time I stayed there. Beds were somewhat compartmentalized so you had some privacy. Practical lockers opened with your own personal code. Very friendly staff. I forgot my hiking shoes there at the balcony, but the staff at this place went the extra mile and sent them to my address in Norway. Much appreciated.

Management was easy to contact and helpfull with anything that I needed. I was also abke to meet some of the other guests who were all very kind. I will definitely stay again when I am back in the city.

The whole place is very clean. Rooms are big enough to have plenty of privacy even in the dorm rooms. Breakfast is very good and there is very nice patio garden in the back. Ines (contact person) was very friendly and willing to help. There is not enough good words I can say about this place.
