Obviously it's not like a hotel or hostel - no AC, toilets aren't flush, you're in a hut -- but if you're looking for a camp style experience, this is the place to be!

This place is just something special. It’s created by absolutely talented and genuine people and it has this exeptional vibe. A perfect place to chill and connect with other travelers. The staff really cares about every single person that stays here. Rooms are being clened every day, the pool and the common area is always spotless. Not a single bad word to say.

Bohol Hammock Hostel er staðsett í Batuan, 18 km frá Tarsier-friðlandinu og býður upp á gistingu með garði, ókeypis einkabílastæði, sameiginlegri setustofu og bar. The place is amazing and have such a great energy. The staff is dedicated, happy and you can feel they like what they do. They offer a free 5am hike to see the sunrise, and its absolutely the best way to see the chocolate mountains (I skipped the touristic, I had enough with that). Also free breakfast is pretty good. Dinner at a cheap price is amazing too! The place has quite a few of dogs and cats, and all of them look happy and well treated (not like in most places in the philipines). You sleep on hanging beds, which I never did before and I loved it. Everything is open and natural. And I was surprised on how clean they have everything even tho is in nature. I didn’t even see insects at all! Also, looks like they are thinking on improvements which is great!! I loved everything. It was an experience. I’ll come back!

The hostel is conveniently located in Paliton, just a couple of minutes by walking to the beach. The staff does everything to make the guests feel at home. The facilities are clean, comfortable and spacious. They organise family dinners every evening which is a great opportunity to socialise with other travellers. If you want to experience the social hostel vibe on Siquijor, I strongly recommend Fable Hostel and I'm sure that you will not regret it :)
