The private room we stayed was very spacious and had a quite comfortable bed. The place is close from everything, yet the noise from main street does not reach the backyard where it is located. Tons of restaurants around. The staff was very nice and helpful and their breakfast is very nice and good value too. They also have a bar and a very nice rest area. Recommend everyone to stay here.

The place is gorgeous it doesn't feel like you're staying in a hostel. The staff are all amazing and so so nice. It's only about a 5 min walk from the main area so location is good. The beds are spacious and room isn't hot at all because you always have the fan you can put on in your bed !

MAAYONG HOSTEL is a quiet and chill hostel in Panagsama road in barangay Basdiot, ideally located 250 meters from Panagsama Beach & the famous sardine run and 2 minutes walk from the bars, restaurants... We stayed for 5 nights in dormitary and had a wonderful time. Rooms are big enough and the bathroom is inside the room. Everything was clean. The common area in front of the room is just amazing with lots of plants and places to rest and relax. It is also a bar and restaurant and you can have a meal or a drink anytime during the day. The girls who work there are lovely and helpful. They arranged us the transfer from Cebu City and back to the airport and the Kawasan falls tour. There are also other tours available. We tried couple of different meals for breakfast (smoothie bowls, outmeal) and all were very good as well as smoothies we had. Location is perfect. Just 5 min walk from the beach and 20m distance from the main street where all the restaurants and shops are.
