The private room we stayed was very spacious and had a quite comfortable bed. The place is close from everything, yet the noise from main street does not reach the backyard where it is located. Tons of restaurants around. The staff was very nice and helpful and their breakfast is very nice and good value too. They also have a bar and a very nice rest area. Recommend everyone to stay here.

One of the best food I've had on the island. The rooms are extremely clean, the bathroom is great, the beds are comfortable. All the staff are extremely friendly and willing to help with anything. They even organized my whole trip from the hostel to Caticlan airport for a reasonable price.

MAAYONG HOSTEL adalah hostel yang tenang dan dingin di jalan Panagsama di Barangay Basdiot, terletak 250 meter dari Pantai Panagsama & jalur sarden yang terkenal dan 2 menit berjalan kaki dari bar,... We stayed for 5 nights in dormitary and had a wonderful time. Rooms are big enough and the bathroom is inside the room. Everything was clean. The common area in front of the room is just amazing with lots of plants and places to rest and relax. It is also a bar and restaurant and you can have a meal or a drink anytime during the day. The girls who work there are lovely and helpful. They arranged us the transfer from Cebu City and back to the airport and the Kawasan falls tour. There are also other tours available. We tried couple of different meals for breakfast (smoothie bowls, outmeal) and all were very good as well as smoothies we had. Location is perfect. Just 5 min walk from the beach and 20m distance from the main street where all the restaurants and shops are.
